Uttarakhand Government increased MLA Fund Rs One Crore

IndiaNewsonWeb: 14 Jun, 2017, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Rawat was present in the House on Tuesday to answer the questions of the opposition. The first legislator to give his legislators a gift by raising the annual legislative fund. Now MLA's annual MLA fund has been increased from 2 crore 75 lakh to 3 crore 75 lakhs. But he rejected the demand for raising the salary of the legislators in the house.

Trivendra Singh Rawat also gave a big gift to state businessmen. In the state, the contracts up to Rs 5 crore will be given only to the local residents of the state. While announcing the farmers, the Chief Minister has given loan of up to Rs one lakh to the farmers living in remote and marginal areas. Now the loans will be given to these farmers at an annual rate of only two percent.

CM Rawat assured the House of resumption of closed hydropower projects. The Chief Minister announced that till 2019 the state will be made fully literate in any state. The Chief Minister has also clarified about Yoga that Yoga has to be delivered to other places also. He said that Rishikesh is the capital of yoga but many more yoga centers are to be developed to promote this. He also told the House on the NH-24 issue that the state government was working on this matter.

BJP has won the Uttarakhand election with a huge majority and handed over the command of the government to Trivendra Rawat. Rawat has tried to increase the confidence among the people of the state by declaring these plans. Prevention of unemployment and migration in Uttarakhand is a big challenge for the state government.
