IndiaNewsonWeb: 13 Feb, 2018, Pakistan has given a major blow to the Mumbai attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed. Pak has declared Jamaat-ud-Dawa a terrorist organization. President Mamnoon Hussain has signed an Ordinance, which aims at restricting the persons restricted by the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) and organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba, Al-Qaeda and the Taliban. So far, Hafiz Saeed was kept in the list of terrorists.

Acting on the order of the Supreme Court of Pakistan on Monday, the police on Monday removed barricades from outside the headquarters of the outfit Jamaat-ud-Dawa. These barricades were planted by members of the JuD more than a decade ago in the name of security. Chief justice Shakib Nisar ordered the Punjab Police to open all the roads blocked in the name of security in Lahore. Due to this order of the Supreme Court, barricades were removed from outside of the house located in Umra, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

Justice Nisar had on Sunday warned the Inspector General of Police, "If you fail to submit compliance report, then the court will decide your fate. If the Chief Minister wishes, you will not be able to remain IG. "Following the Supreme Court order, the police has removed barricades from 26 locations in the city. These places include former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Canadian Maulvi Doctor Tahirul Qadri and late Governor Salman Taseer.
